Moody Styled Shoot At Harvest Moon Pond

If you have a dramatic flair and wonder what a moody and romantic wedding might look like in real life and not just in your head, this is the shoot for you! Rich tones, lush details, and drama to spare, this is a wedding day that will never be forgotten.

What was originally forecasted to be a rainy and gloomy day, ended up being the most perfect (and sunny!) for a photo shoot with a group of amazing wedding vendors from all over the greater Madison area! This shoot ended up being the romantic, yet moody, wedding inspiration of our dreams!

What better wedding dress to pair with a "dark and moody" vibe than a black dress? Black wedding gowns hold a very special spot in our hearts, and we were delighted when Erika from Event Gal invited us to participate in this shoot and showcase one of our dramatic black gowns from Catherine Rose Collection, our exclusive, carefully curated wedding dress designs from independent designers.

The day started off bright and early with hair and makeup, just as any wedding day would, by the talented Lily Lux Studio. Once our model was all glammed-up and ready to go, it was time to start shooting!

Harvest Moon Pond just seemed to be the perfect venue to pull this vibe off! Everything from the beautifully finished wood interior, the beautiful natural lighting throughout the space, and the amazing owners, Stephanie and Brian, was just perfect. The unique furniture from Kollective Specialty Rentals really added such a cozy and unique feeling to the overall setup. Elizabeth from Liberty Lane Design's custom signs, table settings, invitation suite, and seating charts really elevated the look and feel of the day, making it feel so personal and special.

Emily, from The McNiels Photography & Film, perfectly captured the overall beauty of the day with her epic photography skills! Seriously, with a gallery of over 180 photos, it was so hard to pick just a few to share!

As far as food goes, we all know that a wedding just isn't complete without some dessert! These to-die-for desserts from Craig's Cakes really added just the right sweet touch to the photoshoot! Ps... They also have gluten-free options as well!
